Confirming and correcting parsed fields
When an email-in submission lands, CoverQueue fills in what it could parse and flags the rest for a quick human check. Confirming is meant to take seconds.
Green vs. amber fields
In Intake Review, each parsed field carries a confidence marker:
✓ Title Glasshouse high confidence
~ Writer Marcus Bell check me
Green (✓) fields parsed cleanly. Amber (~) fields are low-confidence guesses, usually the writer or format pulled from a title page. Tab through the amber fields, correct anything wrong, and the entry is ready.
You don't have to touch the green fields; jump straight to the amber ones. Everything is editable later from the submission detail if you miss something.
Confirm into the log
Press ⌘↵ (or click Confirm) to move the draft out of Intake Review and into your submission log as a logged submission. The attached PDF becomes the script file, already hashed for duplicate detection.
The quarantine tab
Submissions from an unrecognized sender don't create drafts; they wait in the Quarantine tab. Accept the sender to turn it into a draft, or discard it. This keeps spoofed or spam submissions out of your log.
Common questions
Can I edit a field after confirming? Yes. Open the submission and edit any field from the detail view.
What if a parse is completely wrong? Correct the fields before confirming, or discard the draft and forward the email again.
